19. Meryem Suresi 23. ayet Abdel Khalek Himmat Al- Muntakhab

Just to be confronted with the onset of labour, and there, the severe labour pains drove her to the nearby trunk of a palm-tree. Overwhelmed with fear mingled with grief she exclaimed: "I wish, I had died long ago and were consigned to oblivion".

فَاَجَٓاءَهَا الْمَخَاضُ اِلٰى جِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِۚ قَالَتْ يَا لَيْتَن۪ي مِتُّ قَبْلَ هٰذَا وَكُنْتُ نَسْياً مَنْسِياًّ

Fe ecae hel mehadu ila ciz'ın nahleh, kalet ya leyteni mittu kable haza ve kuntu nesyen mensiyya.
