And so they could not assume an erect attitude on their own feet nor were they able to protect or defend themselves.

فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِنْ قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنْتَصِر۪ينَۙ

Fe mestetau min kıyamin ve ma kanu muntesirine.
