Your Lord would never have destroyed the cities wrongfully as long as their inhabitants were putting things right.

وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ لِيُهْلِكَ الْقُرٰى بِظُلْمٍ وَاَهْلُهَا مُصْلِحُونَ
