45. Casiye Suresi 16. ayet Abul A'la Maududi Tafhim commentary

Indeed We endowed the Children of Israel with the Book and Wisdom[1] and Prophethood, and provided them with good things[2] as sustenance, and exalted them above the peoples of the whole world.

وَلَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَا بَن۪ٓي اِسْرَٓائ۪ـلَ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقْنَاهُمْ مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ وَفَضَّلْنَاهُمْ عَلَى الْعَالَم۪ينَۚ

Ve lekad ateyna beni israilel kitabe vel hukme ven nubuvvete ve rezaknahum minet tayyibati ve faddalnahum alel alemin.
