(Just as We made this a habit with the peoples gone by, ) so do We cause this (tendency of scornful treatment) enter the minds of these people who sever their ties (with God).

كَذٰلِكَ نَسْلُكُهُ ف۪ي قُلُوبِ الْمُجْرِم۪ينَۙ
