But when he saw that their hands did not reach out towards it, he deemed their conduct strange and became apprehensive of them. [But] they said: "Fear not! Behold, we are sent to the people of Lot.

فَلَمَّا رَآٰ اَيْدِيَهُمْ لَا تَصِلُ اِلَيْهِ نَكِرَهُمْ وَاَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خ۪يفَةًۜ قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ اِنَّٓا اُرْسِلْـنَٓا اِلٰى قَوْمِ لُوطٍۜ

Fe lemma rea eydiyehum la tesilu ileyhi nekirehum ve evcese minhum hifeh, kalu la tehaf inna ursilna ila kavmi lut.
