11. Hud Suresi 59. ayet Progressive Muslims

Such was the case of 'Aad. They disregarded the revelations of their Lord, and they disobeyed His messengers, and they followed the lead of everyone powerful and stubborn.

وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ جَحَدُوا بِاٰيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا رُسُلَهُ وَاتَّبَعُٓوا اَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَن۪يدٍ

Ve tilke adun cehadu bi ayati rabbihim ve asav rusulehu vettebeu emre kulli cebbarin anid.
