11. Hud Suresi 59. ayet Abul A'la Maududi Tafhim commentary

Such were 'Ad. They repudiated the signs of their Lord, disobeyed His Messengers,[1] and followed the bidding of every tyrannical enemy of the truth.

وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ جَحَدُوا بِاٰيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا رُسُلَهُ وَاتَّبَعُٓوا اَمْرَ كُلِّ جَبَّارٍ عَن۪يدٍ

Ve tilke adun cehadu bi ayati rabbihim ve asav rusulehu vettebeu emre kulli cebbarin anid.
